Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the PO Label Printer app (“the App”, “we”, “us”), provided by Inshalytics, handles information when you install and use it on your Shopify store. By installing the App you agree to this policy.

What we access and store

The App reads data from your Shopify store through the Admin API using the permissions you grant at install. This includes products and variants, inventory transfers (created from your purchase orders), locations, and product barcodes. We use this data solely to generate and print labels.

We store the following in our own database to make the App work:

• Your store domain and app settings.
• Purchase-order/transfer line items, label quantities, label templates, and print-history records.
• The Shopify staff user ID and name of the person who printed, for the print-history/audit log.

We do not collect or store your customers’ personal data. The App is not involved in checkout and does not read buyer information.

When we write to your store

With your permission, the App can generate and save barcodes onto product variants that are missing one. This is the only data the App writes back to Shopify, and only when you explicitly trigger it.

How we use the data

Data is used only to provide the App’s features — queuing labels, designing templates, generating barcodes, printing, and keeping a print history for you. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sub-processors and hosting

The App runs on a private server with a self-hosted PostgreSQL database. We use industry-standard hosting infrastructure to operate the service. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to run the App or comply with the law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep store data for as long as the App is installed. We honor Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks:

• customers/data_request and customers/redact: we store no customer data, so there is nothing to return or delete.
• shop/redact: 48 hours after you uninstall, we permanently delete all data associated with your store.

Security

Access to the App requires a valid Shopify session. Sessions and API credentials are stored securely, and all traffic is served over HTTPS.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
